Fall Jamboree: By The Numbers
SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (Sept. 21, 2025)—The Deer Creek Speedway will host the 27th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree on September 25-27. The Summit Racing Equipment United States Modified Touring Series Presented By RacinDirt will highlight the annual event.
In the previous 25 Jamborees (2023 was rained out) there have been 18 different champions. Jason Hughes leads the way with five titles (2005, 2009-10, 2013, 2015).
Jake O’Neil (2020-21), Jim Chisholm (2022, 2024) and Rodney Sanders (2014, 2018) each have two championships.
The Fall Jamboree ran the first three races at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa,. Ron Jones won the first in 1999. Johnny Saathoff won in 2000 and Willy Kraft won the race there in 2001.
The event then moved to Deer Creek in 2002. Drivers that have one championship include Mark Noble (2002), Dan Daniels (2003), Kelly Shryock (2004), Chad Kinder (2006), Dean Mahlstedt (2007), Tim Donlinger (2008),Terry Phillips (2011), Joey Jensen (2012), Tommy Weder Jr. (2016), Ryan Gustin (2017) and Jacob Bleess (2019).
Over the past 25-Jamboree events, there have been 61-feature races contested with all nights included. Jason Hughes has the most wins with nine. Rodney Sanders has six followed by Kelly Shryock with five. Terry Phillips, Ryan Gustin, Lucas Schott, Jake O’Neil, Jake Timm and Jim Chisholm all have three wins. Zack Vanderbeek, Jason Cummins, Ron Jones and Cade Dillard each have two wins.
Drivers with one win include Johnny Saathoff, Willy Kraft, Mark Noble, Dan Daniels, Corey Dripps, Tony Fraise, Ryan Ruter, Mike Hejna, Brad McEwan, Chad Kinder, Mark Burgtorf, Steve Arpin, Dean Mahlstedt, Jon Tesch, Jason Krohn, Tim Donlinger, Brad Waits, Joey Jensen, Jeremy Payne, Tommy Weder Jr., Johnny Scott, Jacob Bleess and Cayden Carter.
Ten of those one-win drivers won on championship night. Johnny Saathoff, Willy Kraft, Mark Noble, Dan Daniels, Chad Kinder, Dean Mahlstedt, Tim Donlinger, Jensen, Weder Jr. and Bleess came out on top on the most important night and can call themselves Fall Jamboree Champions.
Here is a look at top five finishes on championship night:
Hughes has the most with 10. Sanders is second with eight, followed by Kelly Shryock with seven. Zack VanderBeek has a total of six while Corey Dripps, Jon Tesch and Brandon Davis all have five. Terry Phillips, Ryan Gustin and Stormy Scott have four. Drivers with three include Lucas Schott, Tommy Myer, Brad Waits and Donlinger.
Six drivers have two championship night top five finishes. They include O’Neil. Jake Timm, Dustin Sorensen, Chisholm, Ron Jones and Johnny Bone Jr. There are 36 competitors that have a single top five on championship night.
Eighty-one different drivers have recorded a top five finish when you include all of the feature races ran at the Jamboree. Again, Hughes leads the way with an incredible 28 top fives. Sanders is not too far behind with 24. Shryock has 20, Vanderbeek has 17 and Tesch rounds out the top five with 13.
Davis, Dripps and Gustin are all tied with 12. Phillips has 11 while Donlinger and Schott are tied with ten. Myer and O’Neil both have eight. There is a four-way tie with seven with Jason Krohn, Jeremy Payne, Scott and Waits. Sorensen and Timm each have six. Bruce Hanford has five and five are tied with four. They include Jason Cummins, Cade Dillard, Tanner Mullens, Dereck Ramirez and Bob Timm.
Bleess, Mike Hejna, Johnny Scott, Mike Sorensen, and Steve Wetzstein are tied with three. There are 18 drivers tied with two and 32 drivers who have scored a top five.
