August 15, 2015 KC Lawn Care Slingshot races at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN. This week it was the pee wee class who got the chance to race their feature race under the lights, and other sunny day led into a perfect night for racing on the Button Buck Speedway. ivermectin cow

The pee wee slingshots had four cars this week to start their feature race. It was the k34 car of Kolton Brauer who was on pole this week. Next to Brauer was the 43 of Koby Wagner, Second row inside was the 8T of Toby Kennedy, and the 411 of Gavin Oldefendt second row outside. With the 8T of Kennedy looking for another feature win this week, the k34 of Brauer needed to be fast at the drop of the flag. When the green flag waved, it was Brauer out in front with the 43 of Wagner on the outside trying to make his move, but instead took a ride off the track on turn 2. On the restart, the k34 of Brauer was confident and steady and was able to keep a sizable lead with Kennedy running in 2nd. Wagner quickly moved himself up around Oldefendt and the 8T of Kennedy and was back in 2nd place, but a near collision with Kennedy on turn 2 again, sent Wagner off the track. No caution was called as Wagner got back on the track, and the battle ensued between Brauer and Kennedy up front. Oldefendt now in 3rd was trying to hang onto his position ahead of Wagner again coming up from behind. The k34 of Brauer continued to drive confidently all the way to the checkered flag with the 8T of Kennedy following in 2nd, the 411 of Oldefendt in 3rd, and the 43 of Wagner in 4th.

In the junior feature, it was the 20 of Gage Motl on pole for this 12 lap feature race. dose of ivermectin injectable to prevent heartworms in dogs Alongside Motl was the 34jr of Braden Brauer. Second row was the 25 car of Joe Chisholm on the inside and the 12 car of Ayden Howard on the outside. Third row was the 7p of Jordan Peterson on the inside and the 77 car of Hunter Kennedy on the outside. The 28jr car of Devin Born started the race in 7th this week due to being unable to race the heat races earlier with engine troubles. It was Motl and Brauer neck and neck for the first lap of the race, but soon Motl was able to find his groove and get out in front of Brauer. The 25 car of Chisholm was driving hard into turn four trying to slide into 2nd place, but contact between him and the 34jr car of Brauer on the top side sent the 34jr of Brauer off the track and Chisholm to the back with the caution. A single file restart had Motl out front again, but there was a battle behind him between the 7p of Peterson and the 77 car of Howard for third. The 25 car of Chisholm had moved himself up around the 12 car of Howard and the 28jr of Born, and now had his sights set on the 77 of Kennedy running in 4th.   The 12 of Howard had to pull off the track due to a bent front axle after lap 3 of the race. The 7p of Peterson wasn’t about to let the 25 of Chisholm take over his third place spot and with 1 lap to go, it was the 7p of Peterson in 3rd, the 25 of Chisholm in 4th, the 77 of Kennedy in 5th, and the 28jr of Born in 6th. The 34jr of Brauer clutched 2nd this week with the 20 car of Motl grabbing his third feature win of the 2015 season.

The senior slingshot 18 lap feature was being led by the 44 car of Karlie Wagner. The 60 car of Mann was on the outside of Wagner. On the restart, Wagner in the 44 still led the race, but it was the 24 of Chisholm who now maneuvered around the 60 of Mann to fall into 2nd place. The 53 of Mithun was once again trying to find her opportunity to get around the 4W of Williams, but Williams was tight on the corners and was able to hold onto his 4th place finish this week ahead of Mithun finishing in 5th and Reyna in 6th. At the finish line it was a near photo finish as Chisholm in the 24 closed the gap on Wagner, but as they crossed the checkered flag, it was Wagner who clutched herself another feature win and the 24 of Chisholm finished in 2nd. The 60 of Mann finished in 3rd.
