On the restart, the k34 of Brauer was confident and steady and was able to keep a sizable lead with Kennedy running in 2nd. Wagner quickly moved himself up around Oldefendt and the 8T of Kennedy and was back in 2nd place, but a near collision with Kennedy on turn 2 again, sent Wagner off the track. No caution was called as Wagner got back on the track, and the battle ensued between Brauer and Kennedy up front.
