The United States Modified Touring Series was the main attraction along with the USRA Stock Cars, B-Mods and Late Models. It was a beautiful day for racing and 165-cars jammed the pit area. The annual Veterans Night was held honoring all military veterans and current serving military members. Rochester Chevrolet provided free admission for them and a guest for the night. Tickets and wristbands from July 31 will be honored at one of the following three points races, August 14, 21 and 28. The action will pick back up next Saturday, August 14th with all five weekly classes along with the Veterans Night.

The program was dedicated to long-time Deer Creek grader operator Joe Fitzpatrick who passed away on July 19 at the age of 82. Fitzpatrick had worked at the speedway for 18-seasons.
